Holidays on the Wings of Imagination
Dr. Melila Hellner-Eshed
On the place of religious imagination in shaping the holiday
The conversation deals with the role of the creative imagination in shaping Rosh Hashanah in its various incarnations – the Bible, the Midrashim of the Sages, and the Book of Zohar. On religion as the space of imagination, and on the inspiration to learn from creative people blessed with spirit and imagination in the past for our own world.
